As a designer, I believe that great ideas come from the ordinary life, from the routine, from the elements that surround us. Also as a Brazilian, what could be more part of my day-to-day morning routine than a filtered black coffee? The starting point to this project was a V60 coffee dripper, an item I see and use on a daily basis, and the result was a unique contemporary side table, a true sculptural statement.

 

The V60 side table is composed of 4 parts:

• THE COFFEE ITSELF: a plywood circular tabletop (Ø = 50cm) laminated with Imbuya wood;

• THE FILTER: an aluminum cone-shaped mesh;

• THE FILTER SUPPORT: a 304 brushed stainless steel cylindrical structure, surrounded by a disk, which also serves as a table top;

• THE COFFEE JAR: a 304 brushed stainless steel cylindrical structure.

Como designer, acredito que grandes ideias nascem do cotidiano, da rotina e dos elementos que nos cercam. O ponto de partida deste projeto foi o suporte de café V60 — um item que vejo e utilizo diariamente —, resultando em uma mesa lateral contemporânea e única, de caráter escultórico.

A mesa lateral V60 é composta por 4 partes:

​​

• O CAFÉ EM SI: um tampo circular de  (Ø = 50 cm) revestido com laminado de Imbuia;

• O FILTRO: uma malha de alumínio em formato de cone;

• O SUPORTE DO FILTRO: um disco de aço inoxidável escovado, que também serve como tampo da mesa;

• A JARRA DE CAFÉ: uma estrutura cilíndrica de aço inoxidável escovado.
